Canalot Studios - Glass MRL Gearless Passenger Lift

The specific requirement was for a 13 person/1000kg panoramic machine room less Gearless Traction lift serving 5 floors within a fully glazed steel structure. As the lift mechanism could be seen through the glass we supplied all the visible equipment either painted matt black or in polished stainless steel - including the counterweight guard. The lift was interlinked with LED shaft lighting to allow each floor to be illuminated in a different colour as the lift travelled through the building.
